Goodbye Summer

It’s been raining almost everyday for more than a week now.  PAG-ASA has already officially declared the start of the wet season in the Philippines!  According to their data, the amount of rainfall has already reached the threshold.  The amount of rainfall in one PAG-ASA field station must be at least 25mm for five consecutive days and 3 of the 5 days having at least one millimeter of rain per day.  There are several stations located all around the country.

Today has been wet, wet, wet here in Nueva Ecija.  Newscasters from TV Patrol in various parts of Metro Manila delivered their news under the pouring rain.  Anne Curtis also tweeted that heavy rains are on them in their set (I’m guessing for Green Rose?) in Marikina.

ABS-CBN has also shown its newest station id sung by Aiza Seguerra – Sukob Na shot under the rain and features the stars from the upcoming teleseryes of Channel 2.  There’s Magkaribal with Gretchen Barreto and Bea Alonzo; Green Rose with Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales; Noah with Piolo Pascual, Zaijan Jaranilla and Kristine Hermosa; Cristine Series with Zanjoe Marudo and Cristine Reyes; Rosalka with Empress Schuck, Felix Roco and Matt Evans; Momay with Xyriel Manabat; and Imortal with John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin.

All these and more are telling us one thing – SUMMER IS OVER!

Agree.. and like what I’ve written on my blog.. I cant help but feel worried. I guess Ondoy traumatized me with all the flooding.

yeah. a lot of people are worried. especially since pag-asa is saying that there’ll be more rains than ever this year. i hope we all have learned our lessons last year and start preparing ourselves for the coming rainy days. let’s just pray that nothing as devastating as ondoy and pepeng happens again.
